Important Note
When marking anonymously, in order to preserve students' anonymity marks are only sent from Turnitin to the gradebook on the Turnitin feedback release date. The following guidance is intended for use by staff in cases either when anonymous marking is not being used, or when anonymous marking is being used and the feedback release date has passed and some, but not all, of the marks have been passed from Turnitin to the gradebook.

Sometimes, even after the Turnitin feedback release date has passed and all the marks have been posted, some marks from Turnitin still do not appear in the gradebook, and instead continue to show as 'New submission'.

Although this is rare, it is a problem that Turnitin are aware of and one on which they are working to resolve.

If you have entered a mark into Turnitin and you are not able to see the corresponding mark in the gradebook (bearing in the mind the information in the 'Important Note' box above) you will need to resync the missing mark. To do this, access the Turnitin submission inbox.

For each missing mark, select 'Resync grade'.

You will then see a message letting you know that the resync has completed.

Returning to the gradebook, you will see that the missing mark(s) can now be seen.
